The School Association is the formal body that meets each term to work through the administration, educational and physical issues that arise in the running of Mount Stuart Primary School. Every parent is a member and welcome to attend any of the meetings. There is a committee that comprises parents, staff and community members. Students are also able to attend and be part of the School Association. The Executive are: Stewart Sharples (Chair), Angela Fell (Vice Chair), Alison McFie (Treasurer) and a vacant secretary position. The other members of the committee are: Charles White (Principal), Lisa Nichols (Assistant Principal), Kirsten Toselli (staff rep), Sandra Fogarty (staff rep) Dijon Barrett (parent rep), Anna Holliday (parent rep), Bec Owens (parent rep), Angela Moore (parent rep) and Terri Kidd (parent rep). All meetings start at 7pm and are held in the Mount Stuart Primary School Staff Room.
The Student Representative Council is made up of 10 students in Grades 3 to 6. The SRC meet regularly and are elected by their classes to enable students to have a voice and work towards making our school a better and more supportive place for our whole community. The SRC are involved in organising fundraising, physical improvements and social events for the whole school.
